Foreste Casentinesi Park

Between Tuscany and Romagna there is an isle of silence: the Foreste Casentinesi Park.

Here you can find the silence of nature, in the beautiful colours of October...

...and the silence of friars, monks and hermits, in the suggestive scenery of La Verna Sanctuary and Camaldoli Hermitage.

The last one is the escutcheon of Camaldoli Congregation: two doves - symbol of hermitic and cenobitic tradition - drinking in the same chalice - symbol of the Church - under the only star (God).
